Colors are all around us. They shape our environment and affect the way we experience the world. Engaging with colors is a powerful tool to heal, energize, and soothe us. While creation of art is a way to discover emotions, develop self-awareness, cope with stress and boost creativity. My name is Margarita Howis, and I am so happy to invite you to my Colorflow Ink Workshop. The art class is designed to bring joy and enhance your creativity. It is perfectly suitable for a beginners level. The main mediums will be colorful alcohol inks, which grow in popularity every day. The technique is easy to grasp, playful, and mindful. While creating your own abstract piece of artwork, you will focus on your own perceptions, imagination, and feelings. Most importantly, you will be able to create your own masterpiece and bring it home! Within 3 hours we will: • Introduction to the technique, basics of composition and color theory; • Demonstration of the technique, tips and tricks for a successful piece of artwork; • We will choose the colors and test the method; • Art therapy - time to let your imagination flow and create the artwork; • Bringing art home! There will be some refreshments and snacks and you can take a break any time thought the class. We will work in a small group of up to 14 people in the beautiful venue - spacious Nata Watts Gallery, located in the heart of the Copenhagen. The workshop is a recurring event - you can choose the date and time once you proceed with Booking button. The price includes all the materials ( syntectic paper a4 & a3; colorful alcohol inks; spirit to mix the colors; color wheel and color pallets; markers and paint brushes; bellows and blowdryers; gloves and apron ) tea or coffee, light snacks and 2 glasses of wine. *Please let me know if you would like to choose another date or schedule a private class.
